About Big Sky Wired

Big Sky Wired is a Montana low-voltage, networking, and managed IT company built on a simple standard: enterprise-grade infrastructure, installed cleanly, documented properly, and supported by people who pick up the phone.

We work across southwest Montana: Bozeman, Big Sky, Belgrade, Livingston, and the harder-to-reach addresses in between, for restaurants and hospitality groups, hotels, commercial properties, multi-building estates, and the national IT firms and integrators who need reliable boots on the ground in Montana.

Founder: Angas Reid

What we do

We design and build segmented commercial networks, run and certify structured cabling, deploy WiFi that actually covers the building, configure firewalls and network security, install camera and access control systems, set up restaurant POS networks the right way, and provide Starlink and failover internet for sites that traditional providers can't reach. For clients who want it handled, we offer ongoing managed IT and network monitoring.

Our standard

Every job is scoped to the actual site, installed to a documented standard (labeled, tested, and photographed), and backed by a local team you can reach directly. We bring enterprise hardware where it earns its place and we tell you honestly when it doesn't.

Founder

Big Sky Wired was founded by Angas Reid to bring a higher standard of network infrastructure to a region where dependable service has never been a given. That standard still drives every install.

What Our Customers Are Saying

  • “The KCMM studio was in desperate need of updated equipment and with a deadline fast approaching to implement a new automation system, we panicked when our IT guy suddenly quit. Angas and his team came to the rescue, not only helping us with the new automation, but when we got knocked off the air for various reasons, they responded immediately helping us get back on the air. To say the team at Big Sky Wired went above and beyond is an understatement! We simply can't praise them enough.”

  • “Network rack and WiFi was originally set up by another company, and it was very poor and inconsistent throughout the house. Big Sky Wired came in, fixed the issues, and now I have perfect coverage in every corner of my home. Their customer service was excellent, the execution was professional, and the difference has been night and day. Highly recommend Big Sky Wired to anyone looking for reliable home networking, WiFi, and a team that actually knows what they're doing."
