About Big Sky Wired

Big Sky Wired is a Montana low-voltage, networking, and managed IT company built on a simple standard: enterprise-grade infrastructure, installed cleanly, documented properly, and supported by people who pick up the phone.

We work across southwest Montana — Bozeman, Big Sky, Belgrade, Livingston, and the harder-to-reach addresses in between — for restaurants and hospitality groups, hotels, commercial properties, multi-building estates, and the national IT firms and integrators who need reliable boots on the ground in Montana.

What we do

We design and build segmented commercial networks, run and certify structured cabling, deploy WiFi that actually covers the building, configure firewalls and network security, install camera and access control systems, set up restaurant POS networks the right way, and provide Starlink and failover internet for sites that traditional providers can't reach. For clients who want it handled, we offer ongoing managed IT and network monitoring.

Our standard

Larger providers sell cookie-cutter packages and route you to an out-of-state help desk. We do the opposite: every job is scoped to the actual site, installed to a documented standard — labeled, tested, photographed — and backed by a local team you can reach directly. We bring enterprise hardware where it earns its place and we tell you honestly when it doesn't.

Founder

Big Sky Wired was founded by Angas Reid to bring a higher standard of network infrastructure to a region where dependable service has never been a given. That standard still drives every install.
